Toontown Rewritten In 2014, fond of old memories from the original game, I made Alex in Toontown Rewritten. In 2024, I renamed him to Prince Alex Cuddleberry. My toon ID is in the screenshot below, courtesy of Milo Charming Magician.
Past forums and websites
I remember being a community member of quite a few forums and websites in the late 00s and early 10s which are no longer around. I was usually participating under the name Space. Below I will list as many as I can remember along with specific details.
VMKUnleashed (VMKU): The first VMK remake attempt, VMKUnleashed surfaced online in summer 2008, advertising a release date of Spring 2009. See the forums at archive.org.
Total Entertainment Forums (TEF): Upon VMKUnleashed's failure, leader Oatman wrote a lengthy note of apology and included a link to another thriving community he suggested we might join. I was a member of this vBulletin site since 2009 which was largely about celebrity news, but included many communal aspects you would find on forums running under the software, including visitor messages, userpages, an arcade, a calendar of events, and a Flash chatroom. There were also contests such as one in which we were to design gingerbreadmen, and member-run graphics shops. Much of it is still visible at archive.org.
